Spitfire believes in maintaining the authenticity and natural nature of the leathers we use. We do not remove branding marks or other marks on leather skins.

The Lead Time on locally manufactured items is usually 8-10 weeks, unless specifically stated different lead times on the product description.

• R350 - For orders up to R5,000
• R600 - For orders up to R10,000
• R1,500 - For orders up to R20,000
• R2,000 - For orders up to R30,000
• R2,500 - For orders up to R50,0000

Customers may opt to arrange alternative shipment/delivery of their items at checkout.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVIERIES

We do not include Delivery Costs for orders outside of South Africa. We will contact international customers with a quote post purchase, or they may opt to organise their own delivery. 

It must be noted that all Spitfire pieces are handmade, therefore, small irregularities in shapes, finishes, and surfaces are hall marks of such craftmanship, and should not be considered defects, but as a sign of unique authenticity and should be cherished as such.  In the case of our leather, colour variations may occur due to multiple hides being required to make up the final product.

Also, stretch marks, scratches, scuff marks, amongst other properties, are characteristics of full grain leather – they are not defects.

Keeping the above in mind, Spitfire Furniture and Design provides a warranty that the product will be free from defective material and workmanship in relation to our range of products and subject to the stated limitations.  

10 Year Guarantee on the frame of the chair or sofa.

2 Year Guarantee on the stitching, webbing, and foam.

Spitfire Furniture and Design will only be liable to honour a warranty if:

• the defect existed at the time of delivery and manifested during the warranty period
• the defect did not arise due to normal wear and tear or misuse/abuse by the customer
• the product concerned is used for the purpose it was intended and in a domestic environment (unless the latter requirement is waived by Spitfire Furniture and Design in writing)

• the customer duly complied with the care instructions 
• the customer provides the original invoice:
• the product is assembled by Spitfire Furniture and Design

No warranty is provided in relation to any material provided by the customer
